Vortal Completes First Phase of SOA

The Portuguese B2B company Vortal has announced the complete overhaul of its technology platform, which began in 2007, with the construction of an architecture completely oriented towards services. Paulo Bengala, Vortal Director and Chief Information and Operations Officer, told Semana Informática newspaper that the first phase is now complete; the second phase, scheduled for 2008, "will involve placing the applications and services over this architecture," said Bengala.
